Ben BrighamChairman and Founder
In 2007, Ben founded AutoFerret.com, which became AVA.AI and then Conversica. Ben spent his early career in sales, sales training and management for companies in several industries. During that time, Ben developed a sales automation tool using broadcast fax to streamline the sales process. Ben has also worked as a lecturer and teaching assistant at the University of Washington and worked under a National Science Foundation grant to develop one of the first MOOCs (massively open online course), beneFIT. Ben graduated from the University of Washington with undergraduate degrees in informatics and forest resources and a master’s degree in marine affairs.
Alex TerryConversica Chief Executive Officer
Alex is an accomplished general manager and leader with over 20 years of management experience in high-growth SaaS companies. Previously, Alex was CEO at Become, Inc. an award-winning shopping analytics platform providing performance-based marketing services to thousands of merchants in North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to that, Alex was EVP and General Manager of the Zoomerang.com online survey business where he introduced new lines of business, re-energized growth and managed the business through its acquisition by SurveyMonkey, Inc. Alex was also President and CEO of NeoEdge Networks and spent five years at Time Warner/AOL in senior executive roles. A technology and business model innovator, Mr. Terry holds multiple patents for his work in Internet services, integrated communications, and interactive billing systems. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.
Eric FilipekManaging Director, Kennet Partners
Since 2000, Eric has led Kennet’s investment efforts in vertical software and enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business models. Eric is also a board member of KEMP Technologies, Recommind and Schoolwires. He managed and successfully exited systems management software company NetPro (acquired by Quest Software), compliance software company Consul Risk Management (acquired by IBM) and storage chip vendor Aarohi (acquired by Emulex). Before joining Kennet, Eric was a principal in Broadview’s New York office where he worked on about 50 M&A transactions involving communications equipment, systems management and enterprise software companies. Prior to joining Broadview in 1994, Eric worked as a product-marketing engineer at Intel Corporation. He has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dan FishbackBoard Member, Conversica
Dan brings to Conversica deep management and leadership experience with public and private cloud companies. He currently serves as a board member for DemandHope, Qumu Corporation, Moogsoft and Quantum Retail Technology. Previously, he was chief executive officer of DemandTec and has held sales leadership positions at Ariba, Trading Dynamics, Hyperion Solutions and Arbor Software.
Jared KellerConversica Vice President, User Experience
Jared joined Conversica as lead developer in 2007. As vice president of engineering, he directed the product development roadmap. In 2016, he took on the new role of vice president, user experience. Prior to joining Conversica, Jared worked at Buzzbee.biz as a systems administrator and developer. Jared graduated from the University of Washington with a master’s degree in information technology, design and human-computer interaction.

Joshua has a proven track record as a chief executive officer and general manager for high-growth software companies. He has focused on software as-a-service (SaaS) opportunities in enterprise markets and brings to Conversica expertise in sales, marketing, services, finance, international business, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he served as president and chief executive officer of Support.com and was a board member of DemandTec (acquired by IBM).
Wilder RamseyAdvisor, Toba Capital
Wilder is a member of the Toba Capital team, which he joined in 2012 after a two-year stint at Quest Software. Wilder has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where he also received his undergraduate degree.
