Alex TerryChief Executive Officer
Alex is an accomplished general manager and leader with over 20 years of management experience in high-growth SaaS companies. Previously, Alex was CEO at Become, Inc., an award-winning shopping analytics platform using artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide marketing services to thousands of merchants in North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to that, Alex was EVP and General Manager of the Zoomerang.com online survey business where he introduced new lines of business, re-energized growth and managed the business through its acquisition by SurveyMonkey, Inc. Alex was also President and CEO of NeoEdge Networks and spent five years as an executive at AOL/Time Warner managing a portfolio of SaaS subscription businesses. A technology and business model innovator, Mr. Terry holds multiple patents for his work in Internet services, integrated communications, and interactive billing systems. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.

Gregg AmesChief Sales Officer
Gregg brings over 20 years of experience in software sales and leadership. Most recently Gregg was the SVP Global Sales at Kibo Commerce, a leader in eCommerce and Distributed Order Management software for retailers and brands. Prior to Kibo, Gregg was an early employee at Marketo, Inc. the leader in the Marketing Automation SaaS. He helped grow the company from under $10m to over $200m and a successful IPO leading the Enterprise business unit for North America. Gregg started his career at Oracle and worked in inside sales, field sales and sales leadership in San Francisco and Boston over his 15 years of service. Gregg graduated from the University of California, Davis.
Victor BelforSenior Vice President, Business Development
Victor's career has been focused on creating value through partnerships and channels. Prior to joining Conversica, he led the partnership team at OpenSesame - the world's largest library of eLearning courses for enterprise. There, his team managed partnerships with Oracle, SAP, Workday, CornerstoneOnDemand and other software giants. Before OpenSesame, Victor was an early VP of Business Development at RingCentral where he helped build partnerships with some of the largest telcos and web companies in the world ATT, Verizon, Rogers, BT, Telefonica, Orange, Telus, T-Mobile, Alibaba, GoDaddy. Victor holds an MBA from the Wharton School at UPENN.
Ben BrighamSenior Vice President, General Manager, Latin America
In 2007, Ben founded AutoFerret.com, later named Conversica. Ben spent his early career in sales, sales training and management for companies in several industries. During that time, Ben developed a sales automation tool using broadcast fax to streamline the sales process. Ben has also worked as a lecturer and teaching assistant at the University of Washington and worked under a National Science Foundation grant to develop one of the first MOOCs (massively open online course): beneFIT. Ben graduated from the University of Washington with undergraduate degrees in informatics and forest resources and a master’s degree in marine affairs.
Michelle JohnsonVP, General Counsel and Secretary
Michelle has more than 15 years of experience advising companies in the Silicon Valley on a broad array of legal matters. Prior to joining Conversica, Michelle was VP, General Counsel & Secretary at Support.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPRT), a leading provider of cloud-based software and services for technology support. Prior to that, Michelle spent over 7 years as Managing Counsel in the Corporate, Securities and Acquisitions group at Oracle Corporation. She has also served as Associate General Counsel at Openwave Systems, Inc. Michelle holds a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law and a B.A. from University of California, Davis.
Brian KaminskiChief Customer Officer
Brian is a SaaS Customer Success leader with 18 years of experience leading post-sales delivery teams. He is passionate about delivering value and business outcomes for customers and building effective and efficient delivery teams. Previously, Brian served as World Wide Client Success Executive at IBM where he developed the strategy for customer success across IBM’s SaaS portfolio. Prior to that, Brian served as Chief Customer Officer at Marin Software leading all post-sale activities (account management, renewals and expansion), implementation, customer training and marketing, support, services and analytics) for a publicly traded Adtech business. Previous he served as President, US and Chief Operating Officer of digital marketing agency, iProspect. Brian graduated from Colgate University.
Dr. Werner KoepfSenior Vice President, Engineering
Before joining Conversica, Werner was Vice President of Engineering for Ticketmaster, where he led the team that built out the order processing service behind Ticketmaster's new TM+ product. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Technology and Product at Wetpaint, a Seattle startup attempting to revolutionize the publishing industry. Previously, he served as Vice President for Application Architecture at Expedia, where he modernized Expedia’s applications through the migration to a Service Oriented Architecture. Werner also worked at Amazon.com, where he managed the teams that owned Gifting, Repeat Purchases and Rich Media and was CTO of MAYA Viz, an information visualization start-up acquired by General Dynamics. Werner holds a Ph.D. from the Technische Universität München in Theoretical Nuclear Physics.
Carl LandersSenior Vice President and CMO
Carl has over 20 years of B2B marketing experience in technology and B2B software. Prior to joining Conversica, Carl was chief marketing officer at Serena Software, a leading provider of software development and deployment solutions to the Global 2000. He joined Serena as VP of product marketing and demand generation after serving in a similar role at CA Technologies in the company's portfolio management business unit. Carl's previous experience includes senior marketing, product management and product development roles at Niku Corporation, Tyco International and Raychem Corporation, and startups Perfect Commerce and Zoho Corporation. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University.

Jason LundChief Financial Officer
Before joining Conversica, Jason served as CFO and head of US business development at Mobilis, an international mobile payments company, as well as VP of Finance with Lithium Technologies and DemandTec. Earlier in his career, Jason was a divisional head of finance at McKesson Corporation and an audit, tax, and consulting professional with Price Waterhouse. Jason is a CPA and a graduate of Arizona State University.
David MarodSenior Vice President, Sales
Prior to joining Conversica, David was vice president of sales for Better Car People, an organization formed by auto veterans to offer business development center solutions. An auto industry veteran and Internet pioneer, David has also been national sales director for Vin Solutions, a company that provides a complete car dealership software suite, and a regional sales manager at eBay. He started his career as director of CRM for Reynolds and Reynolds. David attended Michigan State University.
Dr. Sid J. ReddyChief Scientist
Dr. Sid J Reddy is a recognized expert in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computational Linguistics who designed, developed and contributed to dozens of NLP systems used in production in a wide array of use-cases and industry verticals (healthcare, business intelligence, life sciences, legal and e-commerce). His research ranges from using functional theories of grammar for association extraction and question-answering to acquiring lexical resources through distributed word vector representations learned from big data and applying them to improve the state of the art in sequential labeling tasks. Dr. Reddy graduated with a Bachelors in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology and moved to the United States to "develop an effective approach to information extraction with limited training data" for his PhD. His interest in NLP allowed him to develop text-mining infrastructures from scratch at two technology startups and at the Mayo Clinic, and then at Northwestern University where he founded an NLP Lab. Most recently, Dr. Reddy served at Microsoft as Principal Applied Scientist. He is a patented inventor, sought-after industry speaker and published author with research featured in over 50 peer-reviewed publications and technical conferences. Will Webb-PurkisSenior Vice President, Product Management
Will served as vice president and international general manager at NexTag before joining Conversica. During his time at NexTag, he was responsible for launching several new business categories in the U.S. and growing NexTag’s business worldwide. Previously, Will worked in the Internet sector and as a consultant for more than 10 years, where he held senior positions in product management, account management and business development. He graduated from Stanford University with an M.B.A. and the University of Oxford with a B.A. in engineering, economics and management.
