Declare your independence… from sales drudgery!

Independence Day is right around the corner, so now is a good time to remember and be thankful for things from which we’re independent:

  • The British (that’s a 1776 historical reference folks, not a 2016 political one)
  • Mom and Dad (and if you’re not, spoiler alert: they wish you were)
  • Boring blogs (for the moment anyway – you’re reading this one, aren’t you?)

But what about independence from sales drudgery? What’s sales drudgery, you ask? Well if you’re a salesperson, you know what I’m talking about:

  1. Receive hot lead from Marketing (hooray!)
  2. Phone hot lead, leave voicemail
  3. Email hot lead, receive no reply
  4. Email hot lead, receive no reply
  5. Phone hot lead, get voicemail
  6. Email hot lead, receive no reply
  7. Rinse and repeat…

It’s excruciating, but it has to be done. Otherwise what hope is there of engaging the lead? Of gauging their intent to buy? Ensuring you have their correct information (like a phone number)? And it has to be done for Every. Single. Lead. We hold these truths to be self-evident but c’mon, that’s drudgery.

But what if you really could gain your independence from it? What if you had, say, an artificial intelligence based sales assistant to do it for you?
