This month marks the beginning of an exciting new growth phase for Conversica as Alex Terry joins the company as CEO. Alex has an amazing track record of building technology startups with disruptive technologies (like ours) into market leaders. He is a 20-year technology industry veteran who has driven strong revenue growth across a variety of industries, including SaaS, e-commerce, digital media and cloud services.
Alex replaces Mark Bradley, who will continue to serve the company as an adviser. Mark has done a remarkable job of leading the company through its start-up phase, expanding our customer base from those in the automotive industry to many new customers in many new industries. His continued support will be very valuable.
Alex comes to Conversica from Become, Inc., where as CEO he focused the company culture on customer service and satisfaction. He expanded Become’s performance-based marketing services into a global leader.
Prior to joining Become, Alex was EVP and General Manager of the online survey company Zoomerang.com, and before that, president and CEO of NeoEdge Networks.
Asked about why he made the decision to join the company, he said, “The technology is unique, powerful and just beginning to fulfill its potential. It is producing dramatic business results for Conversica’s customers and ultimately that’s the test for any technology. Coupled with continued excellent customer service, this company will grow even faster over the next few years.”

In addition to his leadership experience, Alex is also a technology and business innovator who holds multiple patents for his work in Internet services, integrated communications and interactive billing systems. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.
