Matt Wasserman, Principal and Founder, MPW Strategies
With over 20 years of experience in the field of fundraising Matt Wasserman is the founder of MPW Strategies. Throughout his career, he has developed and integrated innovative fundraising practices. He continues to realize a passion for guiding institutions to reach new heights in funding. Matt previously served as the vice chancellor of development for the University of Colorado Denver, where he directed philanthropic activities for CU Denver since 2010, achieving 300 percent revenue growth in three years. Additionally, he oversaw successful execution of the CU Denver Creative Futures Campaign and development for the CU Denver Business School. Matt also served as the membership manager for the Denver Art Museum, where membership numbers reached an all-time high in 2004. He also worked for several states and national political campaigns. Matt received a BA in political science from Colorado State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado Nonprofit Association, Institute of Leaders in Development, and Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Amelia Farber, Director of Global Partnerships, Conversica
Amelia Farber is the Director of Global Partnerships at Conversica, where she manages 40+ global referral and reseller partnerships and oversees a wide range of activities including driving joint marketing programs and strategies, generating partner pipeline, coordinating successive sales opportunities, signing on new partners, and initiating outbound partner acquisition programs. Amelia graduated from Stanford in 2016 with a master’s degree in Latin American Studies and received dual BA degrees from Stanford in 2015 in Music (vocal performance) and Environmental Anthropology. She previously worked at UK cybersecurity firm, Darktrace, as the Marketing Executive, Manager, and then Director of Direct and Channel Sales in Latin America.
