Conversica, the leading provider of artificial intelligence-based lead engagement software for marketing and sales, today announced it has been included in the list of “Cool Vendors” in the Cool Vendors in CRM Sales, 2016i report by Gartner, Inc.
The Cool Vendors in CRM Sales report by Gartner analysts Tad Travis and Ilona Hansen “examines vendors of sales enablement applications that make it easier for salespeople to sell, and easier for them to maximize their knowledge about processes and products.” They note in the report that “improving sales execution with prospecting, lead qualification and training is emerging as a key driver for sales teams.”
Conversica’s virtual sales assistants use AI to engage leads through natural, two-way email conversations. They automatically contact, engage, nurture, qualify and follow up with every single lead, until each lead either coverts to an opportunity or opts out. The AI capabilities allow these sales assistants to interpret intention and sentiment in the email replies and will ask for key information like the best time to call and the phone number at which the lead would like to be contacted. All this information is then provided to the appropriate salesperson, who can spend their time closing deals rather than chasing leads.
“Being named a ‘Cool Vendor’ by Gartner is a real honor,” said Alex Terry, CEO of Conversica. “Our virtual sales assistants are enabling sales teams at companies across many industries, including automotive, technology, education, financial services and healthcare, to increase their engagement with leads, create more opportunities and, most importantly, close more deals. This recognition furthers our strong belief that every cool salesperson needs a cool assistant to dramatically boost their productivity.”
