Conversica, the leading provider of artificial intelligence-based lead engagement software for marketing and sales, will be exhibiting and speaking at the 8th Annual American Association of Inside Sales Professionals (AA-ISP) Leadership Summit, being held from April 20-21 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago. Conversica’s Regional Vice President of Strategic Accounts, Erroin Martin, will discuss findings from the 2015 Sales Effectiveness Report in his presentation, The Current Effectiveness of Inside Sales, on Thursday, April 21, at 10:00 am.

For the Sales Effectiveness Report, Conversica commissioned a secret shopper to reach out to more than 300 companies across nine different industries, and tracked inbound lead responses for 30 days. Response performance was then graded on what’s known as the 4 P’s of lead management:

  • Promptness: You need to be fast if you want to be first
  • Persistence: One or two tries are rarely enough
  • Personalization: Prospects want conversation, not promotion
  • Performance: An email snagged in the spam filter looks like a non-response to a lead

In his conference session, Mr. Martin will share insightful metrics from the Report, as well as practical steps companies can take to maximize ROI on their inbound leads and how to benchmark their lead engagement efforts against others in their industry.
