It’s a new year, but Conversica’s teams are already hard at work—including our Security team which is happy to announce that we have successfully achieved SOC 2 Compliance.

This announcement demonstrates our continued commitment to improving our products, services, and processes to deliver the best experience for our customers.

Below we will cover what SOC 2 is and what it means for our customers.

What Is SOC2 Compliance? And What Does It Mean for Our Customers?

Data privacy and protection are essential for fostering secure digital environments for businesses and their customers. Since cyberattacks and data leaks are a constant threat, it’s vitally important to adopt leading industry standards.

SOC 2, for instance, is an auditing procedure meant to ensure customers that a service provider securely manages their data; as well as the data of their customers’ customers.

As of January 2021, Conversica successfully completed a SOC 2 Type II audit demonstrating our security policies, procedures and practices are up to the standards established by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). This 10-month process attests to how our reporting and controls match to Trust Services Criteria including security, confidentiality, availability, processing integrity, and privacy of our systems.

“The processes we have in place, meeting the requirements of SOC 2, form the basis of a scalable platform that enable us to help organizations attract, acquire, and grow customers at scale,” says Mark Jancola, Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Engineering at Conversica.

SOC 2 compliance is just one of the many Data Protection and Privacy standards Conversica is compliant with including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

“Our customers place an immense amount of trust in us to be good stewards of their company and customer data and we are committed to continually earning that trust with mature, industry-accepted practices around security and privacy,” says Jancola.

To provide greater visibility into our security controls, the SOC 2 report is available to all existing and potential customers. This provides increased confidence for anyone using our Revenue Digital Assistants to attract, acquire and grow customers at scale; which is of great importance in today’s digital-first world.

Your security and the security of your customers are of utmost importance to everyone here at Conversica.
